Online Poker Review Dream Poker

Dream Poker is part of the Microgaming network, which was formerly known as the Prima network. Dream poker joins other large rooms in the network such as Doyles Room to create a very large volume of players for each of the rooms on the network. Dream Poker is currently one of the larger rooms on the Microgaming network.

Special features
Dream Poker has a ‘Dream System’ where players accumulate points depending on how many raked hands they have played. After every two weeks, the points are counted up and the top 30 players are entered into a freeroll, where the winner will win their ‘Dream’. The winning player however does not suggest these ‘Dreams’, but they can be selected from a list provided by Dream Poker, which usually involves an exotic holiday or the opportunity to meet some famous people. This is a great feature that is put forward by Dream Poker, but it does mean that you have to play a lot of poker to stand a chance of being able to be entered into the freeroll.

Bonuses & other promotions
Dream Poker offers a 25% sign-up bonus up to $50 for all new depositing players. Furthermore, if you make a deposit via NETeller of over $100 you will receive an additional bonus of $25. These bonuses can be worked off by playing a certain number of raked hands before they are released. The room also has a bad beat jackpot, which is the same as on every other Microgaming room, along with a magic hand bonus where certain hands will have extra money added onto them.

The Microgaming network is quite large, and so it receives a nice amount of traffic. This volume of traffic is not as large as some of the rooms currently on the market, but it does not cause a problem. There is no trouble trying to find a table at any game or limit, but you may bump into the same players occasionally if you play frequently enough.

Software & graphics
The Microgaming software is very basic but provides everything you should expect from a poker room. The table graphics are very bland, but the actual layout is well presented and allows you to keep up with the action easily. Furthermore, there is a mini-mode view, which enables you to shrink the size of the table so that you can fit 4 tables onto one 1024×728 screen without any overlap. This makes it incredibly useful if you like to multi-table frequently. The lobby is also well presented and allows you to select a table from the wide range available with relative ease.

Game variety
Dream Poker offers Texas Holdem, Omaha and Stud along with another poker variant of 5-card draw. This is less popular than the other card games but it still receives a healthy volume of traffic.

Customer support
Dream Poker has a great customer support that provides a list of individual support numbers and emails for each individual country. There is also a live chat feature that is available for each country that Dream Poker caters to.
