The Pros: David Sklansky
David Sklansky is the son of a Columbia University Professor. He describes himself as a child math & logics prodigy.
He began playing and analyzing the game of poker while he was a student at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton. David, along with other students, would discuss each hand and how it could be played better.
David Sklansky is generally considered one of the top authorities on gambling, especially poker. He is the author and co-author of dozens of books on poker, blackjack, and gambling in general. He has also produced two instructional videos and written numerous articles for gaming publications.
David says the reason his books do so well is because of his ability to present his ideas as simply as possible, even though these ideas frequently involve ideas that are deep, subtle, and are not found elsewhere. The things he writes about can be counted on and are accurate.
Recently David has been doing work for casinos, internet gaming sites, and gaming device companies. He has also invented a new game called Poker Challenge.
