Jennifer Harmon was born in Reno, Nevada. She graduated college from the University of Reno with a degree in biology.

Jennifer is not just the best female player in the world, but one of the best players period. She is a regular at some of the highest stakes poker games in the world and Las Vegas.

Jennifer learned the game of poker by watching her mother and father play in home games. Jennifer really wanted to play in these games as a kid but her parents wouldn't let her; they did however let her stay up and watch.

Jennifer started her poker career in her teens after a brief stint as a cocktail waitress. One of her stations was the casino poker room, so she would shed her waitress attire and adjourn to the tables after work until poker became her primary income.

Jennifer Harmon has a WSOP bracelets for winning the deuces to seven draw in 2000 and in 2002 she won the Limit Hold 'Em event. Jennifer finsihed second in pro event in Aruba during the fist season of the WPT.

Jennifer spent the final event of the 2005 World Series of Poker undergoing a kidney transplant that she recieved from a niece. Jennifer says that not everyone is able to find a match among their loved ones so she started the "Jen Harman Challenge" to raise awareness about the importance of becoming an organ donor.

Jennifer is married to Marco Traniello. She likes to stay home playing with her dogs, go to movies, and hang out with friends.
