John Juanda was born on July 8, 1971 in Indonesia. John moved to the united states in 1990 when he enrolled at the University of Oklahoma State. He then went on to earn his MBA from the University of Seattle.
In high school John was a track star. After high school, he began a career as a door-to-door bible salesman. He won numerous awards for his skills as a salesman. John started playing poker in 1996 and his favorite games are No-Limit and Pot Limit Texas Hold’ Em.
John Juanda is single and currently resides in Alhambra, California. He enjoys reading, movies, outdoor activities, and traveling. John says that he doesn’t play poker for the money, and he has even hinted that he might want to go to medical school some day in the future.
